Volunteering

The Autism Research Foundation is truly powered by volunteers.

By volunteering, you are contributing to the search for autism answers and the mission of spreading autism awareness and acceptance. Choose how you want to be involved and share your talents with us – there are so many exciting ways to be a part of our team!

High School Autism Ambassadors – Begin an autism awareness and acceptance group in your school. Learn how to teach others about autism and become a leader in standing up for kids who are more susceptible to bullying. Host fundraising parties, sell candy bars, hold a 50/50 raffle at an athletic event, or come up with your own project to raise money for our programs that help kids with autism make friends, learn sports, and be creative like you!

Special Events – Help us set up, run, or take down one-day events such as our fashion show and family fun day.

Be a Host! – Gather your friends for a support dinner, add a fundraising challenge to the family reunion, or organize an activity with a local merchant who donates a percentage of participants’ tickets back to autism research. Possibilities are endless!

Inclusion Programs – Play sports with us during Athletes 4 Autism sessions, join us for social events through Michael’s Place, and practice helping those with disabilities in the workplace in Jobs 4 Autism.
